Alright, so I’ve taken a quick look at the Spring line-up. Almost all slots are closed now and series claimed by subbers.
Nakai has a drama (Konkatsu!), Toma has one (Majo Saiban), Matsujun has one (SMILE), Sho has one (Quiz show).
I’d never thought I’d say this, but I’m willing to check a Horikita Maki drama out again.
Rinjo seems like a continuation of Voice, or at least inspired by it.
About BOSS (Toda Erika), I want to see what kind of persiflage the Japanese made out of this. Anytime I see Japanese drama’s hinting towards this kind of topic I get sick watching the first episode. So let’s see how fast it’ll make me puke. Don’t remind me of concepts like Hataraki Man (or whatever that show name was). So I guess I did loose my sense of humor on this type of drama, didn’t I? XD
Godhand Teru, no more medical drama’s. Code Blue was it. I never got to see Shirota Yu’s drama, since they never translated it (I think). Still willing to check it out if someone knows of a translation. It’s such wank he doesn’t get bigger roles. The guy is a good actor imho. Ever since that drama (I forgot the name of) I’m convinced he’ll do well.
I’m not sure what to think of “Konkatsu!” I haven’t seen Matsujun on screen for a long time and it seems like an interesting script, so I’ll be looking forward to that one. Ganbare, Matsujun! Then there’s Sho! I’m not sure if that plot is going to work out, but I’m willing to give it a try. It’s an Arashi filled season! I’m guessing the Matsujun one is going to be the best story, simply because it’s on TBS. You can’t always count on them, but it’s usually the best drama’s. p.s. You think stormy team will be able to handle two projects at the same time? Well hope they do ♥.
Let’s see which ones will remain! Last season I dropped quite a few.
