Food drama’s

I’m beginning to notice my fascination with food drama’s, something usually unheard of on Western television, but in Asia it’s pretty much a common concept for television. I’m currently watching the Kdrama “Gourmet” on Viki and I wanted to create a compilation of some good food drama’s to watch for fellow foodies.

Gourmet (EN), Sikgaek / 식객 (KR)
Synopsis and details

Short review:

Currently at the 5th episode of this drama, so can’t tell you if the first few episodes hold up. It starts off promising, but I suspect there’s going to be quite a few filler episodes. Korean drama’s are usually 24 episodes long and often test my patience to the limit.

Synopsis and details

Short review:

Really liked this drama, even though the chef’s temper tantrums and the aspiring pasta cook’s dimwittedness can get on your nerves. Usually it’s a good sign when I keep watching a drama like a marathon and finish the entire series within two days. Don’t blame me if you end up cooking pasta for two weeks after watching this.
