Gackt: Yellow Chickenz

My friend and I decided to go see a “blast from the past”. Once my friend infected me with anime and the likes, jrockers were next. Her first love was Gackt! I followed with L’Arc and Hyde but Gackt is also special to me too. It’s been announced he’s doing another tour here in Europe in a few months and the concert tickets just went on sale for the Germany gig. Since that one is going to be held on a Saturday and that Cologne is actually closer than Amsterdam for me: we’re going to see Gackt in Germany!

Both of us kind of lost track with what he has been doing all this time, but, once a 400 something old legend cruises nearby you’re kind of curious. So, Gackt! We’ll see you in Cologne on the 23rd of July.

I looked at a text around 3pm and my friend said the website the tickets came from was ‘temporarily overloaded’. I don’t know if that was due to Gackt’s tickets going on sale or something else; but I suspect it may have malfunctioned for that reason indeed. Japanophiles in Europe rarely get to see anything live and knowing artists perform in smaller places usually makes them *log on* at the exact time the tickets are sold to be sure they have one. Record companies, (ano Johnny-san?), if you didn’t have a clue: get a clue now.

After watching some videos from fans in Germany, I only got that I should yell “YFC” so far.

The last PV I actually consciously remember seeing from him was “Jesus”. I’m sure he has done some stuff after that, but I have no idea what. Before I’m going bound to catch up!

:hoping:

Ayabie

Randomly cruised by this JROCK band. I’ve been way out of it lately, but I kind of like it. I’m not much for visual bands, but this is good. :D

Abingdon Boys School, is it? Why do I know this name…
