Japanese name

Dec
25
2011

I just looked up the composition of “Tomohisa” which I never really did before; then noticed it’s something like “Friend of the moon”. But that’s all JDIC puked out. With a name like that, when the moon was with one of the Royal stars in the heavens (Antares), can’t lose can you?

I want a Japanese name, they’re totally more interesting. My real name is a derivative of this. The last name has it’s roots in this name. Can’t take away any Nordic remnents of vikingness or christianity from that, or any Greek-ness. καθαρός (katharos) = pure. A lot of names are derivatives of Greek. Mite be bankrupt, but a lot of people have names like that!

But, according to this site, I can have a Japanese name:

中島 Nakashima (center of the island) 幸代 Sachiyo (generation of blessing).

I’ve started to cram Intermediate Japanese Core 6000 on Smart.fm. I must be mad.

It’s not like I can ever complete a sentence on my own, but as long as I can understand my drama’s I’m happy.

Screw Kanji! >_>

I wonder if Korean is just as difficult as Japanese. I mean, it’s stripe stripe dot dot, dot stripe… how hard can it be? XDDD!

Goddamnit, now I have to learn some Korean too.

Oppa! Saranghae! That’s all I need to know anyhow;)
