Netvibes reader view makes Firefox hog CPU

I was having constant hangs on Firefox for a while and now I know why that is. If you leave reader view open on Netvibes in another tab, at some point your CPU usage of Firefox shoots up to 50-60 %.

Um…. fix it?

I thought it was McAfee at first.

But then, I also noticed when I was downloading from Mediafire that Firefox downloads NOTHING when your mouse isn’t actively moving across your screen (ON any window of firefox). I’ve seen a lot of things but this is a first. I am not alone either. I’m running 3.6.6. on XP with the emergency update of Flash 10.1. The operating system has nothing to do with it.

Yee be warned installing that 3.6.6. update if it isn’t already too late for you.
