Feedburner socialize options

While I’m so proud I’ve managed to publish 2 articles in my native language for my other site, I’m also very impressed with the new feedburner option: socialize. It enables you to automatically post to any given twitter account you own when you publish something new on your feed.

Isn’t that a lifesaver? I love the function really. Immediate plugging. No clicks involved.

Whoever thought of that, gets a kiss from me. lol.

Syndication stopped: google acquiring feedburner

I was wondering why there were so little items being posted on virtualjapan.net! Now I know why. Google acquired Feedburner, and now has linked all accounts to google by your gmail address. Actually if you try to login to feedburner the first time, it will ask you to migrate all your existing feeds to a google account. So now it’s “feedburner.google.com”. In itself this wasn’t a problem for the posts to keep syndicating, but changing the URLs for the feeds from

http://feeds.feedburner.com

to

http://feeds2.feedburner.com is.

After changing the feed URLs everything is working again.
