I say yes! xD I saw enough when I went to the L’Arc concert and saw a couple of thousand of them together. It’s like a mildly borrowed metal/ rock / goth style that does not conform to the standard uniform color. lol. I think we’re going to see a larger influx of standard people in “Japanophilia land”. I mean, it’s not like it used to be. The only ones who could possibly find anything “J” were mostly rockers/metalheads etc. in the past. And that’s because those are the young people who knew the most about computers and the internet. I’m ‘of the old stamp’ already!

On the other hand, being a wee-bit older than most fans, you’d be best off taking that with a grain of salt. If he does go solo, it’ll be in a delayed execution mode. One that may have already started. Heck, it’s the way I would do it, specifically when things are ‘tender and painful’ because of Jin leaving. It’s going to be more difficult for the next one to come along to ask for ‘public forgiveness’. A matter of true diplomacy and tact if you ask me. One that probably can only be solved by “silent death”. Do not speak of it, let it slowly appear over time.

Some say it won’t happen because Jin had his heart set on the US, Yamapi has no such desires. Agreed, though solo is solo. Whether that happens in Asia, in Japan or in Timbuktoe. Even if Yamapi does have such desires, would Johnny-san be as retarded to let another cash cow go? Of course not. Perhaps the better question is: can you escape the jimusho at all in the home market? So I reckon: you keep the lie of doing it both until one of the two indeed dies a silent death or outlives it’s use. Right now, like I’ve said countless times, they’re trying desperately to keep a lid on pandora’s box. It all depends on how big Yamapi’s own desire is to pursue solo activities and whether that leaves room for NEWS. Or in case of Johnny-san: how well he has the thumb screws on him or can butter him up if he does. What’s the best balancing act with an “Ace” in a game of Black Jack? That card means you’re comfortable enough to gamble, ne. The only challenge left is the “PR” not going bad. Let’s see how the cards are played. Time will tell. Seeing as Yamapi himself already said “he won’t betray NEWS”: “impossible is nothing”, but personally I don’t expect a blowout like Jin’s.

As with everything, ljay still provides the best laughs. It’s a shame je_secrets has been posted to less and less over the past year. It’s like reading a tabloid, not about the celebs but a tabloid about the fans of the celebs. lol. Jin took first place over there as well:

I won’t be surprised he’ll flatten out the interest of some of his fans by himself over time XD.

You know what this means right? Fandom war. Yep. As much as I would like to sympathize with Jin and his buddies I think he’s underestimating what those remarks are going to do. If he’s actually fully aware then I think it’s quite childish. Some fans would describe that as very “Jinny”, but knowing full well you’re going to unleash WWIII is kind of childish.

KT-TUN is no KAT-TUN
I actually heard less about the solo concerts than KT-TUN remaining group member activities. How is that even possible? Besides that… it’s much like Jin’s first hiatus, it just doesn’t feel complete. How can people even speak of “omfg they’re going to break up” if you know he’s done this before and came back. I must admit, he wasn’t the same person anymore. Truth be said, they pushed Kame to the front the past year or so for “unknown reasons”.

Sakura Girl just passed without notice and I have no idea why. Can’t be the songs, because the songs are like they always were “bubbly pop average”. Even “Happy Birthday” had a better PV. I kept being amused at the cat drawing. Now Yamapi has finished Ashita no Joe and … what am I talking about. There is no NEWS, there’s just Yamapi, my pet Goldfish. As a unit, these guys were just never meant to be. I will only change my opinion once I see choreography that’s coordinated/timed between them and/or a tv show that actually makes me think “they’re a group”. Soukon was not it. Gets to much attention, period. Their tv shows aren’t the way it used to be, just like Kanjani’s. And I LOVE Arashi tv shows. The music? Not any better. That being said, fandom has been kind of dead lately. Along with many JE tv shows. VVV6 is ending/ has ended. Arashi no Shukudai-kun ended/is ending. I know SnowMyth told me they were ending Cartoon KAT-TUN but I didn’t quite manage to pick up on the fact that Utaban is getting towards the end as well (suspended?). I mean wut? That show has been around for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages. So now only HEYx3 and MS remain? I think they should cancel MS instead, never even cracked a smile at that. O! I randomly remember this (I stand corrected by the guests):
