Ano, I’m waiting for my friend to get a”propagated” on an A record I just made checking the digits 20.000 times to refer to tumblr on the changed IP number 6x.x.x.x (as per (l)user manual). It used to be 7.x.x.x. Of course, implemented that A record FLAWLESS. Now me and my friend are like: CNAME FUCKING ERROR? Wait wait wait, bitches. You just told us it was fine creating an A record, that’s what we’z did. The only err0 msg that shows up is “failed to load CNAME” …

I guess it will work itself out in 72 hours, if not, Tumblr is full of shit. Y? Because 6x.x.x.x. certainly don’t respond but I then hope CNAME will. *facedesk*. It’s starting to annoy me, and by my personal experience, just about everything doesn’t take 72 hours but a max of 24. I’d be really surprised if it works tomorrow because “it just needed that worldly handshake a little longer”.

Which part of A record to 66.6.44.4 is lost in space here? I got two of them running (A names to 7x.x.x.x.). Why change it now? This a friggin’ april 1st joke (66.6?)

Edit: 1 day later the message still says “Please use CNAME” but the A record works just fine. A clear case of my inability to be patient.
