I was planning to create a new design based on the old design for Solstice Productions since the old one has some issues. I think I found a good one:
Since I barely release anything anymore, I guess it’s sort of an archive site. I only visit there myself occasionally because I need the information in the tutorials for video conversion/ editing.

YES! My new theme is online for my astrology site. While it’s not a visually creative theme it’s the most tech-savvy/gizmod0 one I ever made. Check this out, a small tour:
The boxmodel is based on YAML, which helped me to clear out most crossbrowser issues but still left something to be desired converting that into WordPress ready.
The code is still a giant mess I must admit, because it’s a ‘soup’ of my old design, the twenty ten theme of WordPress, YAML boxmodel and Arras. Nothing you can notice on the frontend at least.
I’d say this one kicks major ass.
Here we are, a second version where you can see where I’m going with this. Please don’t mind the rough background deletion of objects, that’s always saved for last (so you won’t feel too bad to start over).
Not happy with the light sand background, and still trying to fill up the grap above the entry area.
I ended up using a different painting in the series, but as you can see I’m still playing around with it. Concept, version 0.01. lol. The top part has been done quick and dirty to see what that curtain was going to look like, but it requires ‘clean edges’ of course. I’m still not sure how that’s going to turn out, but they must be clean edges for the top. Then I’m still playing around with the colors, I don’t know what I was thinking trying.. purple? Same for the bottom section, I think the painting is not bright enough now and I have no idea how to finish that.
The coding problem with this layout: see the sword on the left? It’s outside the container but the footer is already using the body element to pull through from left to right. (o_0). I know it should be possible but how? It’d be a shame to have a good design later on and not having a clue how to cut and code it.
I also spent 4 hours isolating a couple of functions out of a wordpress theme I really like. Shit, that was annoying but I got it done. I’m developing this new theme on RC1 as well when the graphics finish. What am I talking about? By the time I’m done, 3.0 is already out.
