Yamanade, what a gem

Feb

2010

I’ve been catching up this weekend. I have to say my favorite drama for the season is Yamanade, definitely. I am so thankful it hasn’t gone over the crack level border. Mabushiiiiiiii~ It does have a tendency to border too much though. I just hope it’s going to ‘keep it real’ (even if in fairytale land) for the rest of it.

The only character I really dislike is Tegoshi’s. Too much ‘puppy’.

I got reminded how much I like seeing Kame in drama’s. Almost as much as my YamaGoldfish. almost.

I’m sooo enjoying this one…but then I usually enjoy “over the top” comedy. Then it’s Kame. If I had to choose someone after my dear, dear Kimura, placing a hand on my heart, that’d be him for sure. Wonder why it is but I find him so endearing. He’s also pretty and talented and is so good at making me laugh. A real soft spot for him, I haz.

Re: Tego, it’s all the way round for me. Will never fancy him I reckon, but I’ve seriously disliked him since “My Boss, My Hero” precisely for the same soppy puppy traits he features in here, but here they are so thoroughly exaggerated (e.g, carrying that teddy bear around) I’m sort of liking his character almost against my will XD I still keep on calling him Sakuranantoka in my mind :P
