Regarding Jin’s bit, it would be wise not to overestimate the actual difference between Japan and the US when it comes to the ‘ease or freedom’ of the entertainment industries. Not because I know anything about it, but because the world is FOF (Full Of Fail). FOF has shoes on and is a constant obstruction consciously or unconsciously (US or Japan, it doesn’t matter). Not until he’s actually done it, will he know which FOF he’ll have to file in the archive – if that’s even possible. It would certainly be incredibly naive to merely think the US is “the land of opportunities”. I do wonder what happens if he’ll put “bear meat” behind all that talk;) I’m not sure what kind of foreigners he’s associating with, but if it isn’t people that have a feel for the “western style” of doing business that’s going to be real hard on him without any previous “reference”.

As for Pipi, my only worry is that when you refuse to understand you can miss a lot of things. It can also make someone a giant asshole (lol, this is not royalty but hai, from experience I can tell it also works in the short run). You cannot free yourself from something that you don’t understand. It’s not the same as accepting. So I hope he finds a good balance between that.
