So today I tried to burn a couple of dvd’s and the computaah douched me with a bunch of new errors. Actually, Nero did. Nero said: reallocation failed. Right before or after that: video_ts is unreferenced and should be removed. If you search these two errors it’ll give you a lot of information. All of them absolutely useless.
- ifoEdit: As soon as I know how to use it, probably a dandy cool tool. Unfortunately it’s a bit like Linux, it takes some more time to know what the hell it is you’re doing.
- “It’s fine”, John said. No it definitely isn’t. Some people say “oh Nero’s just giving off warnings, it’ll be fine”. I repeat: no it isn’t. These are people that don’t know what they’re talking about since they don’t even own a dvd player but instead are watching the movies on a pc, with PowerDVD for instance.
The solution:
Run it through DVDShrink instead. Whatever is corrupted will be rewritten or properly omitted I don’t know and I don’t care: it works. If Nero still whines at you, I guess you’ll have to figure out how ifoEdit works. Great place to start is doom9 forums, but unfortunately they’re down at this time.
