It has come to aye attention that kattunlove/ j-one records comm had some kind of wank going on which I didn’t even take the effort to read. Is what I usually do with mod post: oh someone’s over sensitive again. I haven’t read all of it (again), but I think kat-tun comms are now suffering from the same retard file sharing discussion as what ruined the kanjani8 comms a while ago. I don’t care whose on who’s side, but it doesn’t take long to find the crazy ppls that think file sharing should be banned completely or delayed because “omfg, the sales will go down” (which isn’t true).

If I could I would probably buy every release of my favorite Japanese group but eh… IT COSTS ME MORE THAN THE ACTUAL ITEM TO FLY IT DOWN HERE. So what I usually do is: I buy albums and I buy DVDs. Never buy singles. Slowing down file sharing or banning it tomorrow, I would not buy a single item more. Simply because I can’t. Some of us are on budgets you know, and some of us work our asses off for every penny. As good little consumers we bring part of that money to the entertainment industry but there is a limit to where that is stretched. I can’t even believe there’s rabid fangirls saying “oh, but we have to do this because Japanese artists already earn so little in comparison”. You got a board stuck to your head? If I had to decide, whenever I buy a JE release, where the money would go I would put it with the stylist-sans, the sound guys, the cameramans, the photographers, the office clerks, the soundmixing guys etc. etc. People like you and me! Not more in Johnny’s big fat pocket and not into the private wardrobe of these guys and/or their early retirement fund. That’s not to say they shouldn’t earn their fair share, but that’s what it’s all about. Meanwhile:
… and the rest of us jokesters get to pay for that one with our jobs.
Making this ‘larger’ than JE fandom: I work in the IT sector, I know damn well they are borrowing the knowledge in my head “asif” I paid the money to get that knowledge there. No I’m not talking about education, because if you would depend on that in this industry: you’re fucked. But may I ask you this: how did you learn to work with office? Why do know how to work with Windows? Because it was available to you *wink*. Which OS is the most dominant? It’s not any different in principle. How many fans would KAT-TUN have overseas if there wasn’t any sharing?
So here’s how I think those anti’s could be profiled by the feds:
- You haven’t worked a single day in your life or you hold a part time job next to school and think you’re working hard.
- You have someone that’s giving you the cash/ come from a rich family.
- A fanatic belief these ‘poor boys’ earn too little.
- An IQ of below 110.
- You have the belief the world works fairly if you just ‘are better than everyone else’ or ‘always try your best’. Dum dum, want some gum gum?
- You own a Mac.
- If you don’t own a Mac, I will find several viruses.

If it busts some people’s “happy bubble” I truly am very sorry. Of course, it all depends where and how you’re pooped out into this world how you think about such things. On the other hand, some people find walking away from the truth a much easier way of living and liking.
